Madurai Senior Clerk LDCE 2026: understand the paper before practising
RuleMithra ·
Madurai Division's Senior Clerk-cum-Typist LDCE notification is dated 15 September 2026. It lists 9 October 2026 as the closing date for applications. Check the notice and any subsequent official updates before acting on these dates.
Understand the examination pattern The notice describes a 120-minute CCBT with 110 objective questions, from which candidates choose 100. Official Language questions are optional. It specifies a deduction of one-third of the marks allotted to a question for an incorrect answer.
Prepare from Annexure I The syllabus covers office administration, Railway organisation, finance and procurement, employee-service rules and other listed subjects. Use the complete annexure as your checklist rather than treating this short guide as an exhaustive syllabus.
Choose practice carefully A paper with 100 compulsory questions can help you revise content, but it does not reproduce the choice involved in attempting 100 out of 110. Read how each practice paper handles question selection and scoring before comparing scores.
Build your revision notes For each topic, keep a short summary and a source reference. Separate a wrong answer caused by missing knowledge from one caused by overlooking an exception. Check amendments when a question depends on a monetary limit, entitlement or deadline.
